Born in 1944, HEC graduate, Christian Maillard made a passage in the book publishing before pursuing a long career in public broadcasting, at Radio France, as a financial director, general secretary of the management of music and international director. Upon retirement, he was able to devote himself completely to photography.
Adept photographer of black and white and traveler since always, he traveled and still travels through the nearest regions like the most distant by realizing many images of which he exhibited a small portion since 1997. Also a collector, he is particularly interested in the history of photography from the 1920s to the 1980s.
